Tulkoff & Product Quality
To insure quality, we have an in-house testing laboratory where all of our products undergo testing for compliance to specification prior to shipment. Certificates of Analysis are available upon request for our foodservice & industrial customers. Recognizing the need for food safety and quality, we have been audited by a third party auditing firm for many years to have an independent check of our food safety and quality programs. For the past 10 years we have consistently ranked in the excellent or superior category.
Tulkoff & HACCP
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. HACCP is a program that was developed in the 1950's to be used during the manufacture of food being sent into space for the astronauts because end product testing alone can not assure product safety. Today HACCP is a program that enables our company to take a systematic approach to evaluating possible hazards associated with our raw materials, processing steps, and finished products. Using this systematic approach, we can determine what hazards can enter our product, where the hazards occur, and how we can control or eliminate the hazards. Our HACCP program works hand in hand with our prerequisite programs such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Trace & Recall Program, Allergen Control Program, Pest Control Program, and Employee Training.
