Scallops in Shallot Butter Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

4 Tbsp butter
1 lb scallops, cleaned and cut into 1/4" thick
2 Tbsp Tulkoff Chopped Shallots
2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Tulkoff Chopped Garlic

RECIPE:

Using 1 Tbsp butter, grease 4 gratin dishes.  Arrange scallops in gratin dishes.  Sprinkle with 1 tsp lemon juice.

Preheat broiler.  Melt remaining butter over medium-low heat.  Add shallots; cook 1 minute until they begin to soften.  Add garlic and cook 1 minute more.  Remove from heat.  Stir in parsley and 1 tsp lemon juice.  Spoon mixture over scallops.

Broil on baking sheet for 5 minutes, 6 inches from the heat.

Serves: 4
