POSITION TITLE: Sales and Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION:                  Baltimore, MD

DEPARTMENT:          Marketing

STATUS:                       Full Time

 

The primary role of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator is to coordinate and implement sales and marketing projects, to create brand awareness, drive sales and support the sales and marketing teams.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Marketing:

  • Manage social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Product photography
  • Tradeshow planning, coordination and support
  • Facility tour coordination and support
  • Recipe development
  • Maintenance of GDSN network
  • Keep informed on market trends and communicate new ideas
  • Development and coordination of sales training
  • Serve as the back-up for our sample portal and online store fulfillment
  • Assist with various marketing projects

Sales:

  • Manage a customer relationship management document for sales support
  • Serve as a support/resource for the sales and broker network
  • Contact customers on behalf of the sales team to keep the selling cycle moving
  • Event coordination and follow-up of sales meetings, trainings
  • Maintain sales calendar
  • Respond to new customer/project requests (co-pack requests)
  • Sales data reporting

 

Qualifications:  

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A./B.S. degree in Food Marketing or Marketing preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience in sales and/or marketing.  Food industry experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft software: Specifically: Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Project management skills
  • Quick learner with a keen attention to detail, demonstrated ability to keep multiple projects moving at once and excellent follow-through
  • Creative and energetic problem solver
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Talent for interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with any or all programs:  Google Analytics, WordPress, MailChimp and Hootsuite
  • Physical requirements: lift boxes

 

POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager – Foodservice

LOCATION:                  Mid-Atlantic

STATUS:                       Full Time

 

The primary role of the Business Development Manager – Foodservice is to promote and sell Tulkoff foodservice products, services and solutions to existing and potential customers along with facilitating broker and account relationship management.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide support and maintain existing foodservice business.
  • Prospect and develop new foodservice opportunities, within local, regional and national chains, universities, c-store and sport venues with standard products or co-pack and private label projects.
  • Attend local food shows and sales meetings for Tier I and Tier II accounts.
  • Attend 3-4 national food shows and 3-4 customer meetings.
  • Manage key brokers and their communication with distributors and operators.

 

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in foodservice industry.
  • Have strong relationships with distributors and operators and a working knowledge of the foodservice industry.
  • A proven driver of high sales performance and business growth with strong analytical skills to develop strategic opportunities.
  • Advanced interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • A team player with a strong sense of collaboration.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint-Salesforce a plus)

 

POSITION TITLE: Blending Technician

LOCATION:                  Baltimore, MD

STATUS:                       Full Time

 

The primary role of the Blending Technician is to organize and assist in the formulation and mixing of all blended products within quality and safety guidelines

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurately pick, measure and blend formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs.
  • Operate blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines.
  • Ensure proper lot coding, prepare samples for lab testing and work closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation.
  • Continually monitor product quality and advise of quality issues.
  • Monitor and report on food safety issues when perceived.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork.

 

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be fork lift qualified (training available)
  • Able to lift 50lb bags and pails
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Prior blending experience preferred
  • Flexible Work Schedule
