Assistant Production Manager

The primary role of the Assistant Production Manager is to assist in the organizing, managing and directing of production operations. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet timely production goals and follow all standards of food manufacturing. 
  • Strive to constantly improve processes and yields. 
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of packaging and labeling.
  • Responsible for production scheduling and operations.  Evaluate sales and demand and ensure accuracy of production numbers compared to demand.
  • Interview, hire, train and review and discipline production department employees.
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory and 3rd party auditing agencies.
  • Operate department within a prepared budget.
  • Strive to control waste of packaging materials, ingredients and labor hours. 
  • Recommend process improvements and procurement of new or replacement machinery and participate in new product development team.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards


To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Problem-solving skills
  • High School Diploma; degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of HACCP and SQF is a plus

Spice Room Blender 

Hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

The primary role of the Spice Room Blender is to formulate and mix all blended products within quality and safety guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurately picks, measures and blends formulas using standard operating procedures and GMPs.
  • Ensures proper lot coding, prepares samples for lab testing and works closely with packaging to ensure timely preparation.
  • Continually monitors product quality and advises supervision of quality issues.
  • Monitors and reports on food safety issues when perceived.
  • Able to operate blenders, mixers, cookers and ancillary equipment without direction and within SOP and process guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate records and paperwork.


To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be fork lift qualified (training available)
  • Able to lift 50 lb bags and pails
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Prior blending experience preferred
  • Flexible Work Schedule

Logistics Coordinator

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

The primary role of the Logistics Coordinator is to coordinate and ensure accurate shipments of finished products, specific to each customer’s requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and emails, set shipping and receiving appointments, offer directions, contact carriers, generate pick tickets, print invoices and populate daily reports
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with all parties involved
  • Maintain accurate appointment schedule for security at the loading dock
  • Contract carriers for daily LTL and TL delivered shipments
  • Maintain shipping and receiving schedule for finished products, ingredients and packaging
  • Request freight quotes and keep freight cost comparison spreadsheets
  • Work closely with the Shipping Department and Production to ensure accuracy of all finished product shipments
  • Notify Customer Service of all out of stock or shortage situations
  • Work with Co-Pack customers for specific shipment instructions
  • Print daily pick tickets and verify confirmed Bill of Ladings
  • Research and file claims with the contracted carriers for shorts and damages
  • Maintain contracted ctw pricing for all carriers, verify and approve carrier freight invoices
  • Notify carriers of fee for any missed scheduled appointments
  • Prepare customs paperwork for shipments outside of the US
  • Backup SAP system shipments for co-pack customer


To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year prior logistics experience
  • Proficiency in MicroSoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to make decisions and handle difficult situations with multiple parties
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have transportation

Industrial Maintenance Tech

Hours: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Tech is to carry out accurate and efficient production line changeovers as well as trouble-shooting, repairing and maintaining critical equipment to ensure maximum asset availability.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs production line changeovers according to current specifications and guidelines.
  • Improves changeover effectiveness and efficiency by developing detailed documentation and procedures.
  • Follows pre-established guidelines for making timely, consistent and accurate repairs and completes all required paperwork associated with repairs
  • Performs high quality maintenance work in accordance with written procedures and SOPs
  • Troubleshoots AC variable frequency drives, AC & DC motors, DC drives, and other motor control circuits
  • Troubleshoots discrete and analog sensors including pressure, temperature, flow, photo-electric, and inductive proximity, as well as PLCs and pLC controlled systems and machines
  • Diagnoses and repairs gearboxes, bearings, pumps and other mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Participates in new equipment installation, validation and start up processes
  • Shares knowledge and identifies new opportunities for transferring skills to operators as needed. Actively participates in continuous processing improvements and learning opportunities


  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional machinery troubleshooting, root cause, and corrective action skills
  • Experience with food processing and packaging machinery preferred
  • Food manufacturing GMP experience preferred
  • Allen Bradley experience preferred (CompactLogix, SLC 500, PV+, etc.)

Production Line Leader

Hours: 2nd Shift 3:00 – 11:30 PM

The primary role of the Line Leader is Leader is to organize and direct the operation of a given line of production equipment

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Packages products with safety and quality standards.
  • Supervises and directs others in production, line change-overs, set-up and running of the line.
  • Continually monitors product quality and advises supervision of issues.
  • Responsible for proper packaging, coding, label placement and pallet configuration applicable to the line.
  • Assist in completing the HAACP, quality and production documentation applicable to the line.
  • Monitor and report on food safety issues.
  • Continually monitor the facility for security measures and security breeches.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Fill in as needed in other areas of the Production Department as assigned by the supervisor.


To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Should be able to operate packaging machinery, set-up coders and labelers
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HAACP, quality and production procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow company guidelines and work with peers to achieve the overall goals of the company
