Chimichurri Steak Tacos

Ingredients

Marinade:

1 Jalapeño

1/2 cup cilantro

5 Garlic cloves

Juice of 2 limes

Juice of 1 orange

1/2 cup Olive oil

2 Tbsp White vinegar

2 tsp Cumin

Salt and pepper

2–3 lb Flank steak

 

Tacos:

Corn tortillas

Tulkoff Chimichurri Sauce

Cotija cheese

Pickled red onion

Avocado, sliced

 

Directions

Blend marinade ingredients together until smooth. Place the steak in a resealable bag with marinade and refrigerate about 4 hours. Prior to grilling, let meat come to room temperature.

Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove meat from marinade and sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides. Grill for about 5-6 minutes per side, flipping once. Remove from grill and let rest for about 5 minutes. Slice steak against the grain into long strips and then into bite size pieces.

Warm tortillas on grill so they are more pliable. Build your tacos – steak, Chimichurri, cotija, onion and sliced avocado.
