Give your chicken shawarma a Tulkoff twist with our Garlic French Fry Sauce.
For the chicken:
½ tsp Ground cumin
1 tsp Curry powder
1 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Fresh lemon juice
½ lb. Boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into strips
For the sauce:
2 tsp Fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp Chili sesame oil
½ cup Plain Greek yogurt (2%)
For the meal:
2 Garlic Naan
1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup Chopped tomatoes, chopped
1 Red onion, sliced
Spray a grill rack with nonstick, nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a medium bowl, combine ingredients for the chicken and toss until evenly coated. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes. Meanwhile in a small bowl, whisk sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Thread the chicken strips onto skewers and place on grill. Grill until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
Warm naan on grill. Place naan on plate and top with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and a generous drizzle of sauce.
