Horseradish Encrusted Flank Steak

This winning steak marinade recipe will do nothing short of WOW your taste buds.

1 cup of Tulkoff Horseradish
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup whole grain mustard
2 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp kosher salt
1/2 cup Shallots, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
2 lbs flank steak


Combine all the ingredients together, except the flank steak, to make the marinade. Let this mixture sit for about 15 minutes to develop flavors. Set aside ¼ cup of the marinade in the refrigerator.

Thoroughly rub both sides of the flank steak with the remainder of the marinade. Place the flank steak in a shallow pan, cover, and refrigerate.

Go outside and turn the grill on to high. Remove flank steak from the marinade and throw on the grill. Grill for 2 minutes, then turn over and grill the other side another 2 minutes. Turn the grill off and close the lid and allow the steak to cook another 2 minutes.

Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. To serve, slice it thin and against the grain. Pour the remaining marinade on top. Enjoy on a salad, alongside roasted potatoes, or on thinly sliced French bread.
